Choosing your element
Water, Fire, Earth, Air or Chi — pick the path that fits your playstyle.
The five paths
Each element has its own abilities, strengths and combos. You choose your bending path in-game with /choose or /bending choose <element> and can rebind moves to suit you. Use /bending display <element> to preview every move before picking.
- Water — Defensive and versatile. Control ice, healing, blood and plants. Strong near oceans.
- Fire — Pure offense and explosive damage. Manipulate lightning and combustion. Immune to fire.
- Earth — Balanced defense and offense. Raise walls, armor and lava. Great for mining.
- Air — Mobility and crowd control. Push, pull and shield with wind. Take no fall damage.
- Chi — Anti-bending martial arts. Disable bending with strikes, run faster and hit harder.
Sub-elements
After mastering your base element you can unlock sub-elements for extra power:
- Water — Icebending, Bloodbending, Healing, Plantbending
- Fire — Lightning, Combustion
- Earth — Metalbending, Lavabending, Sandbending
- Air — Flight, SpiritualProjection
Combos
Combos are advanced moves that require pressing specific keys in sequence (e.g. left-click, sneak, left-click). Each combo has its own unique effect and cooldown. Check the full Bending abilities guide for a list of every combo.
